To our surprise the gentle man carrying her in his arms was was on crutches and he was her father. It was a rather sad moment to know her father was stricken by polio which cannot be cured once it happens in childhood, however there was a subdued happiness to inform him that his daughter could be easily cured of clubfoot. This was a moment of immense happiness for all.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Much later during her castings we got to meet her mother who is also specially abled and it is almost impossible for her to carry the child without assistance. With all these limitations, there was no sight of helplessness in both the parents.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]They took great care of the baby, never missed an appointment and had a positive outlook towards life. A strong feeling of respect and admiration rose in everyone present in the room.
Now Avni’s feet are totally corrected and she wears her braces during night and nap time. We also visited her at her home and were so touched by the love extended to us by her entire family.
